It is not recommended. You should not cut on any piece that has a coating or a sealant. Könkretus pieces come sealed with a special sealant that protects them from the attack of
external contaminants. When cutting on a sealed piece, such as Könkretus products, the sealant will scratch, and the piece will start to stain. We recommend that when you are going to make a cut, always do it on a cutting board.

Concrete is a liquid stone, and it is a very durable material that can last a lifetime with proper care. However, even though it is very resistant, you need to know that it is naturally porous and tends to absorb liquids. To prevent our products from absorbing unwanted materials, we seal them with a special sealant that delays (and in most cases eliminates) the absorption of substances. There are, however, elements that can stain the product, and it is recommended to avoid contact with them on a Könkretus product. Avoid contact with products such as pure vinegar, mustard, medical products like Isodine®, antibacterial agents, and acidic or detergent products that are not pH neutral.
In case the product comes into contact with these substances, it is recommended to clean it immediately with a damp cloth using pH neutral soap or, in extreme cases, with
sodium hypochlorite (commonly known as Clorox® or Blancox®). It is also advisable to clean it as soon as possible in case substances such as coffee, wine, toothpaste, among others, spill on the product.
In any case, most stains that appear on concrete tend to disappear within 48 hours of their appearance.
